The Plot of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela

The movie begins with a narration that introduces the two rival clans of Rajadi and Sanera, who have been fighting for 500 years in the village of Ranjaar. The Rajadis are led by Ram's father Dhankor Baa (Supriya Pathak), while the Saneras are led by Leela's mother Kaushalya (Richa Chadda). The two clans are constantly at war, killing each other's men and destroying each other's property.

One day, Ram, who is a flirtatious and carefree young man, sneaks into the Sanera's haveli (mansion) during the festival of Holi. There he meets Leela, who is a bold and spirited young woman. They are instantly attracted to each other and share a passionate kiss. However, they are soon discovered by Leela's brother Kanji (Sharad Kelkar), who tries to kill Ram. Ram escapes with the help of his friends and Leela's cousin Bhavani (Barkha Bisht).

Later, Ram and Leela secretly communicate with each other through phone calls and messages. They decide to elope and run away from their families. However, their plan is foiled by Kanji, who shoots Ram's friend Kesar (Abhimanyu Singh) in front of Leela. Leela is devastated and blames Ram for Kesar's death. She agrees to marry a man of her mother's choice, but on the wedding day, she runs away with Ram.

Ram and Leela reach a nearby village where they are welcomed by an old woman named Rasila (Shabana Azmi), who runs an orphanage. Rasila tells them that she is the sister of Dhankor Baa and Kaushalya, and that she left Ranjaar after her husband was killed by her brothers. She advises Ram and Leela to end the feud between their clans and bring peace to Ranjaar.

Ram and Leela return to Ranjaar with Rasila's help and try to convince their families to stop fighting. They also declare themselves as the new leaders of their clans and announce their marriage. However, their efforts are met with resistance and hostility from both sides. Dhankor Baa disowns Ram and orders him to leave Ranjaar. Kaushalya slaps Leela and locks her in a room.

Meanwhile, Kanji plots with a corrupt police officer named Laxman Khabri (Gulshan Devaiah) to kill Ram and Leela. They also bribe Ram's stepbrother Meghji (Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh) to join their conspiracy. Meghji agrees to betray Ram for money and power.

On the night of Dussehra, Ram goes to the Sanera's haveli to rescue Leela. He fights his way through Kanji's men and reaches Leela's room. He frees her and they embrace each other. However, they are soon surrounded by Kanji, Khabri, Meghji, and their gunmen. They shoot at Ram and Leela, who manage to dodge the bullets.

Ram and Leela then take out their own guns and point them at each other's heads. They declare their love for each other and say that they would rather die together than live apart. They kiss each other and pull the triggers, killing themselves.

The movie ends with a montage of scenes showing the aftermath of Ram and Leela's death. Their families are shocked and grief-stricken by their loss. Dhankor Baa and Kaushalya realize their mistake and hug each other in remorse. The villagers mourn for Ram and Leela and pray for their souls. The narrator says that Ram and Leela's sacrifice has brought an end to the bloodshed in Ranjaar. b70169992d
